How to configure an OpenVPN connection on OS X

We will use client named Tunnelblick, which can be found here.
After downloading the latest version, check this link, if you have any problems with basic installation steps.

Next step:
-Click the Tunnelblick Icon in the Status Bar at the top of your screen to open the drop down menu.

-Choose "Add a VPN".

-Choose "I have configuration files".

-Choose "OpenVPN Configuration(s)".

Tunnelblick will create an empty folder on your Desktop named "Empty Tunnelblick Configuration"

-Download the vpn.zip file which is located in the attachemnt section of this page, and extract its contents (vpn.opvn) in "Empty Tunnelblick Configuration".

-Rename the folder to the your liking and change the extension to .tblk, example: LubrickOpenVPN.tblk

-Choose "Add" in the warning box that appears.


This will create a new icon for Tunnelblick.

-Double click the new icon to add the configuration to Tunnelblick.-Choose "Only Me" and enter the password.

Click the Tunnelblick Icon from the Status Bar and select the new configuration.

-"Connect to LubrickOpenVPN.tblk"

-Insert username and password we provided you.
